Rubab Properties respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have. It applies to this website and to the information you give our consultants by phone, email, WhatsApp or in person.
We handle personal data in line with applicable UAE law, including Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data.

02Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details — your name, phone number, WhatsApp number and email address.
- Property requirements — the area, property type, size, budget range, timeline and purpose (buy, sell, rent or invest) you tell us about.
- Property details — if you are selling or letting, information about your property such as its location, specifications, title and tenancy status.
- Identity and transaction documents — when you proceed with a transaction, we may need a copy of your passport, Emirates ID, visa, title deed, tenancy contract or proof of address. We only request these when a transaction or legal requirement makes them necessary.
- Correspondence — the messages, notes and records of calls and meetings you have with our consultants.
Information collected automatically
- Technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type and operating system.
- Usage information such as the pages you visit, how long you stay and the links you click.
- Information stored in cookies and similar technologies (see Cookies).
Information from other sources
We may receive information about you from property developers, landlords, other brokers, property portals and people who refer you to us, where they are permitted to share it.
03How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiries and put you in touch with the right consultant.
- To find and recommend properties, arrange viewings and share project information that matches what you are looking for.
- To market your property to prospective buyers or tenants when you have asked us to.
- To prepare, negotiate and complete sale, purchase, rental and management transactions.
- To meet our legal and regulatory obligations, including the know-your-customer and anti-money-laundering checks that apply to real estate brokers in the UAE.
- To send you updates about new launches and market news, where you have agreed to receive them.
- To operate, secure and improve this website.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
04Legal basis for processing
We only use your personal information where we have a valid reason to do so, which will be one or more of the following:
- Your consent — for example, when you ask us to contact you or agree to receive updates. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Performing a contract — to provide the brokerage or management services you have engaged us for, or to take steps you request before entering into one.
- Legal obligations — to comply with UAE laws and the requirements of real estate and financial regulators.
- Legitimate interests — to run and improve our business, keep records and protect against fraud, where this does not override your rights.
05WhatsApp & third-party services
Many of our clients prefer to talk to us on WhatsApp. When you tap a WhatsApp button on this site, the conversation takes place on WhatsApp, a service operated by Meta. Messages are handled under WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy as well as this one. Please avoid sending identity documents over WhatsApp unless a consultant has asked you to and you are comfortable doing so.
This website also uses a small number of third-party services to work properly, such as Google Fonts for typography and Google Maps for directions to our office. These providers may receive technical information such as your IP address when your browser loads their content.
07International transfers
Many of our clients are based overseas, and some of the service providers we use store data outside the UAE. Where your information is transferred outside the UAE, we take reasonable steps to ensure it receives an adequate level of protection, in line with applicable UAE data protection law.
08How long we keep your information
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy. Records relating to completed transactions, including identity documents, are kept for the period required by UAE law and regulation. Enquiries that do not lead to a transaction are reviewed periodically and deleted or anonymised when they are no longer needed.
09How we protect your information
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including restricted access to client files and secure storage of documents. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to keep your information safe.
10Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:
- Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Ask us to delete your information, where we are not required to keep it.
- Ask us to restrict or stop using your information in certain circumstances.
- Withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.
- Complain to the relevant data protection authority if you are unhappy with how we handle your information.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Contact us. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
12Marketing messages
If you agree, we may send you information about new launches, available properties and market updates by WhatsApp, SMS or email. You can opt out at any time by replying "STOP" to a WhatsApp or SMS message, using the unsubscribe link in an email, or by telling your consultant.
13Children
This website and our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us their information, please contact us and we will delete it.
